Top 5 nights out in Liverpool City Centre – as voted for by you

The results of our poll are in and these are the top 5 nights out in the city centre according to the readers of the Liverpool Gazette.

  1. Bar Baa

You voted Baa Bar as your favourite night out in Liverpool city centre. The Fleet Street night club which is a student favourite, received almost 41% of the votes. This is probably as a result of their discounted drinks and weekly Thursday night UV raves. The club has a unique drinks menu filled with science themed cocktails and shots. There are two Baa Bars in Liverpool one also in Myrtle Street and others across the UK in cities Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham, but the Fleet Street establishment remains a firm favorite.

  1. Krazyhouse

Second place goes to Krazyhouse, a nightclub that has been an institution of the city centre night scene for many years. The three floored club describe themselves as the biggest alternative venue in the north and is one of oldest in Liverpool. They received over 13.6% of the votes and readers particularly enjoy the range of music from Indie to metal to dance and Pop.

  1. Heebie Jeebies

The Seal Street late night bar, Heebie Jeebies, placed third. The club which has two floors and a popular courtyard, followed close behind Krazyhouse receiving 13% of the votes. The club often has live music nights and discounted drink deals, which are particularly popular with the student population of the city. They also recently won Liverpool Lifestyle Awards ‘best nightclub of the year.’

  1. Medication

Medication a student night held in the Arts Club on Seal Street, its previous home, was in the now closed nightclub Nation. The popular night is held every Friday and is a destination for young people of the city. It plays a range of house and dance music and has a selection of DJs.

  1. Level

Level nightclub comes in a number 5, they are one of the biggest and most popular bars in the city centre. The club is at the heart of Concert Square and is often the place to be on a Saturday night. It has three floors playing different music styles on each, House on the first, R&B on the second and Pop on the third. The club is a hit with students as well having a discounted night on a Wednesday.
